The music is equally divided between the two lutes and lots of rhythmic and melodic interest : it’s fun to play ! The book has a thoughtful lay-out with score and seperate parts for both lutes. It is good to see more and more modern music for lute is written, performed and published. This way our beloved instrument will be able to secure a place for itself in the future, not just in the past.
